Our unique over the water bungalows are what dreams are made of! These open air bungalows offer a connection to nature unlike most places you’ve ever been. Throw the fan on overhead, let the salty ocean air fill your senses. Tune out and tap in. Just look at the photo’s in the gallery below. This place is stunning! Did we mention you can have your breakfast delivered to your private deck and it’s included? Seriously. We’re in love with Eclypse de Mar Aqua Lodge! 

ACTIVITIES

Our most adventurous vacation by far. You’ll be living among the locals with their lively music, kids playing soccer in the street and their friendly Caribbean vibe. This action packed vacation will have your body feeling alive and your senses on fire. From that first waking moment of calm to the serenity of sunset, we'll swim, paddle, snorkel, hike, explore and generally thrive in every sensory filling piece of nature the island has to offer. Don't bother packing anything fancy. We will spend the majority of our hours in the water, on the beach and traversing the coastline. Play, rest, play repeat! Get ready for the tropical adventure of a lifetime! Below is a list of a few of the highlights.

Catamaran Sail To Starfish Beach - Time to crank up Jimmy Buffet tunes, lay your feet over the hull and get lost in paradise bliss. As the water wisps beneath, and the sun kisses your skin, the feelings of a life centered and a heart full of love are sure to consume you. This awesome private tour includes lunch, swimming at starfish beach and snorkeling over a young reef full of coral and sea life you’ve likely never seen before Yes…it’s the perfect day.

Red Frog Beach: Picture this. Wake up in paradise in your bungalow over the water. Have breakfast served to you on your private deck. Spend the first half of the day touring the cacao farm. Spend the second half of the day here. The best fish tacos and lilikoi margaritas you’ve ever tasted! Relaxation mode until sunset. This is Red Frog Beach. So chill. So beautiful. So fun. Another epic day in Bocas del Toro, Panama!

“Jungle Book” Paddle - This is the tour that Disney tried to create at it’s theme parks and we’ll do it for real! We talk a lot about the 99.9%. It’s an idea that we create experiences that 99.9% of people will never get to do at the places we visit. We might need to increase that percentage for this excursion. That’s because we invented it! Don’t worry. There are no gigantic hippo’s or over-sized crocodiles on our tour. But the jungle is pure beauty and we slowly paddle through it to absorb all its wonders. Kayaks also available.

Coastal Bike Tour To Lunch. The shores of Bocas Del Toro are stunning and you'll spend one day on a beach cruiser soaking up the sights. We head out from Bocas Town and ride roughly two and a half miles to iconic Skullys Restaurant. Time for hydration and relaxation with your feet in the sand or cooling off in their pool. This place is on our list of coolest “bars” in the world. Bored of relaxing? Try your hand at axe throwing! Another unique place unlike anything else. These are our favorites!

Cacao Farm Tour: Finca Montezuma farm produces and shares their locally grown Cacao and homemade treats. Another beautiful boat ride to it’s shores and we’ll spend a few hours learning the process of taking cacao from it’s raw form to pure chocolate, brownies, tea, candies and more.

Blue Coconut Lunch & Snorkel: When you're in one of the worlds most beautiful locations it's time to explore. We'll take you on a trip inside the protected shoreline over dreamy clear water. Our final destination is this amazing restaurant on the edge of civilization… The Blue Coconut. "No shoes, No Shirt, No Problem". Snorkel right of the deck. Ice cold tropical drinks and fish tacos on tap. It’s one of those “I never wanna leave” places! A true paradise adventure experience .

All of our vacations are designed to be accessible and enjoyable for any experience level or ability. Not into stand up paddling? We’ll get you a kayak. Don’t want to zip line… who cares! There’s a stunning beach around the corner with your name on it! All you need to join a Flow World Travel vacation is an adventurous spirit and a positive attitude. FLIGHTS

Two flights are needed to get to Bocas Del Toro. One to Panama City (Tocumen International) and one from Panama City to Bocas. Your Bocas flight is included in the price of your trip ($220 value). You will purchase the flight to Panama City on your own.

For the easiest travel experience you want to land in Panama City on the 20th and depart on the 28th. This will allow you plenty of time between travel to the island and back. To do this you will book extra nights in Panama City on the 20th and 27th. Rooms are cheap at roughly $100 a night! Share that with your roommate and it’s only $100 total for two extra nights in the city. This also allows you time to tour “Old Town” Panama, Casco Viejo.

DINING

Our years of experience have found it best to leave dining options open to our guests instead of including it in the trip price. This allows you to eat what you like and allows us to provide you more experiences at less of a cost. Breakfast is included! Food is pretty cheap in Bocas. You can easily eat like a king on a shoestring budget. Load up on breakfast for free. Have a few $3 tacos for lunch. Enjoy a delicious dinner for $8 to $12. Less than $20 a day and you’re enjoying all the best fresh island treats! 

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is this trip a good fit for me?

The beauty of Bocas is it’s simplicity and sustainable lifestyle living. This is our most adventurous trip. If you’re ideal vacation is a luxurious resort with pools and cocktail servers, this trip isn’t for you. If you want to get off the grid and immersed in nature you’ll love Bocas. Your WIFI may be spotty or not work at all. Your beautiful bungalows are open air and cooled by fans and ocean breezes instead of A/C. You’ll be living among the locals (awesome). You’re packing should consist of bathing suits, sunblock, sunglasses and not much else. You get the picture. This is a true adventure vacation where we live simply but wonderfully. Ready to embrace the “sandy hair, don’t care” lifestyle? If so then we’ll see you in tropical heaven.

I’m over 50. Do you think I’ll fit in with the group?

Average age on all Flow trips is 45. That means on nearly every trip we have guests well into their 60’s. Age is not a factor. All you need is an adventurous spirit.

Do I have to know how to stand up paddle or kayak?

Absolutely not. Our trips are designed to be accessible for everyone. We choose locations with flat waters and easy conditions. We have taught 1st time paddlers how to paddle on trips all over the world! You can literally just sit on the kayak and float. We’ll match you up with an experienced paddler. Or our staff will paddle you.

What if I don’t have a roommate?

We always have solo travelers. We will call you to discuss your travel style in order to pair you with the best roommate of the same sex. If you’re an early riser we will pair you with someone similar. Our vacations tend to attract travelers of a similar mind set already. It’s very likely you could room with any guest and be completely content!

Are there men on your trips?

While we do have more women than men on most trips, everyone is welcome! Men, women, couples, singles. Black, white, brown, gay, straight and everything in between. We’re a love tribe. One world. One people.

BOOKING

$500 deposit payable directly online. Second deposit of $500 due 4 months before departure. Final payment due two months before departure. Balance payment instructions will be emailed to you upon booking your deposit. Need more time to pay? No problem. We are happy to work with you to make your dream vacation come true.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

Insurance is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for your physical and financial protection. The we recommend using is Allianz Travel insurance. Their website is very easy to navigate and understand and their customer service is great. You do not have to cover the full cost of your trip. You can insure any dollar amount you want and you will still receive the emergency medical coverage which is most important in case of a life threatening emergency. Their “One Trip Basic” is good enough for most people but you can increase your coverage amounts with their “One Trip Premier”.
